Rocket Lab finishes U.S. launch pad and names its first customer

Rocket Lab USA Inc. has cut the ribbon on its second launch pad, enabling the Huntington Beach, California-based aerospace company to launch missions from United States soil for the first time. The company's Launch Complex 2 is located at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport, owned and operated by Virginia Space on Wallops Island, Virginia.
