OC Sen. Dave Min launches congressional bid

Sen. Dave Min is running for California’s 47th congressional district — with the backing of Rep. Katie Porter who currently holds the seat. An Irvine Democrat, Min has represented a large area of Orange County in the California Senate since 2020 where he has focused on gun crime prevention and environmental issues.
