Latest victim of COVID: O.C. bird lovers’ big annual field tally

It’s been the event of the year for Orange County bird lovers since 1955. The Sea & Christmas Bird Count typically attracts more than 200 avid fans of feathered species, who gather with their binoculars over the course of three weekends to document the county’s ornithological glory.
