Huntington Beach woman sentenced for lying to authorities to protect boyfriend who sexually assaulted a girl

A Huntington Beach woman was sentenced Friday to a year in county jail and three years of probation for lying under oath in an attempt to protect her boyfriend, who slashed his own throat in open court when found guilty of sexually assaulting a girl.
