Fryer: It was a long, strange, imperfect but satisfying year for high school sports

Just a few months ago chances for a high school sports year were bleak. But we had one. A condensed one, because of the long-running COVID-19 pandemic. We had one thanks in large part to CIF Southern Section commissioner Rob Wigod and his team that assembled and disassembled and reassembled the sports calendar over and over and were ready to go when they finally got the green light.
