Fryer on basketball: End of sit-out period strengthens some Orange County teams

The Surf teams for boys basketball are Corona del Mar, Edison, Los Alamitos and Newport Harbor. The Wave teams are Fountain Valley, Huntington Beach, Laguna Beach and Marina. • The Century Conference’s eight teams are assigned to the Crestview and North Hills leagues. The Crestview teams are Canyon, Esperanza, Foothill and Villa Park.
