False Tsunami Report Prompts Sirens, Alerts In Huntington Beach

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA — A report of a possible tsunami approaching Huntington Beach Friday morning prompted an alert to be issued and sirens to sound around the city turned out to be a false alarm. Authorities were working to determine how the inaccurate report was sent out.
