Eight transients were arrested and their encampment in Costa Mesa was cleaned up

Last week, the Costa Mesa Police Department received complaints about a large unlawful encampment off Bristol Street near the flood channel, which started to fill up due to the rainstorm. The Community Policing Unit (CPU) went out to the location and found the encampment.
