Workers United has prevailed in elections at more than 350 of Starbucks’ roughly 9,000 corporate-run US stores, starting with a landmark win nearly two years ago in Buffalo, New York. California has at least 28 unionized stores, with 12 in Southern California and the other 16 in the Bay Area (see list below).
